Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Berlin. As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business strategy. Your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and visualization will help shape the direction of our business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to generate insights for business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to track business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored BI solutions.
  • Utilize BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker to create interactive data visualizations.
  • Design and implement data models, queries, and reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Perform data mining and statistical analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy across all BI systems and reports.
  • Stay current with industry trends and BI best practices to continuously improve processes.

Technical Skills Required:

  • BI Tools: Advanced knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Database Management: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and reporting.
  • Data Modeling: Experience in designing and implementing data models and data warehousing concepts.
  • Data Visualization: Strong skills in visualizing data effectively to communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Programming Languages: Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • ETL Tools: Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in business intelligence or data analysis.
  • A degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of German is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics.
  • Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards (GDPR).
