Develop, implement, and manage the organization’s compliance program.
Ensure the organization’s adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including GDPR, anti-money laundering (AML), and other financial regulatory requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across various business units.
Collaborate with senior management to promote compliance culture and enforce ethical standards.
Lead internal compliance audits and manage communication with external regulatory bodies.
Provide ongoing compliance training to employees to raise awareness of regulatory requirements.
Investigate and resolve compliance issues and report findings to upper management.
Monitor industry developments and changes in regulatory requirements to keep the organization updated.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of German and European regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, AML).
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and regulatory authorities.
Ability to adapt quickly and manage compliance in a dynamic environment.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential compliance issues.
Preferred Skills:
Any relevant certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or International Compliance Association (ICA) qualifications are a plus.
Basic knowledge of financial regulations, trade compliance, and risk management.
Experience with compliance management software tools.
