Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's information security program.
• Monitor and safeguard IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Identify potential cybersecurity risks and establish preventative measures.
• Oversee the security operations center (SOC) and manage incident response plans.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote security awareness and deliver employee training.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations.
• Regularly assess security controls and conduct internal audits to improve security measures.
• Serve as a liaison between senior management, legal teams, and external auditors on cybersecurity matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of cybersecurity practices, information security standards, and IT risk management.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, or CIS.
• Basic knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), encryption technologies, and access management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with teams across the organization.

Preferred Skills:

• Any relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.
• Experience with cloud security, malware analysis, and penetration testing is a plus.
