Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy that includes both physical and cybersecurity.
  • Oversee the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Lead risk assessments and audits to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the protection of sensitive data, systems, and networks.
  • Manage incident response teams and protocols for timely handling of security breaches and threats.
  • Coordinate with external security agencies and law enforcement when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international security regulations and standards.
  • Provide regular security updates to the executive team and recommend necessary improvements.
  • Oversee employee training and awareness programs to promote security best practices.
  • Lead security team management and recruitment to ensure a well-equipped, capable team.
  • Ensure the protection of physical facilities and assets, including access control and surveillance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior security leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, physical security, and risk management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory security requirements (GDPR, ISO standards).
  • Experience with incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with executives and stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions.
  • 10+ years of experience in security management, cybersecurity, or related fields.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud security and emerging security technologies.
  • Familiarity with international security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in risk management, incident response, and security policy development.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of threat intelligence and risk analysis methodologies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate security challenges into actionable plans.
