Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust data architectures using cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Optimize system performance and cloud resource utilization.
• Collaborate with data teams to support analytical and machine learning workloads.
• Implement security and compliance measures for data handling and storage.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve data infrastructure issues.
• Research and adopt the latest cloud tools and practices.

Technical Skills Required

• Cloud Platforms: Advanced expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services.
• Data Tools: Strong knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka or similar frameworks.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data engineering tasks.
• Database Systems: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Infrastructure Automation: Knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
• ETL Processes: Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow or Informatica.
• Security: Understanding of data encryption, IAM policies, and GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud data engineering or similar roles.
• A proven track record of delivering scalable and secure data solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills in English; Polish language proficiency is a plus.
