Employment Information

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the data science team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists.
  • Define the data science strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company’s business goals.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models and analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, product, business) to understand data needs and create actionable insights.
  • Evaluate and implement state-of-the-art data science tools, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization by translating complex analytical results into actionable business recommendations.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of data used for analysis and modeling.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, methodologies, and best practices in data science and AI.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure data science initiatives align with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data science, including leadership roles in managing teams and projects.
  • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and advanced statistical analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience with data manipulation, visualization, and analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Tableau).
  • In-depth knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performance teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with AI-driven analytics, natural language processing (NLP), or computer vision.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Background in business strategy or the ability to collaborate closely with business leaders to drive insights.
  • Any relevant certifications in machine learning, AI, or data science leadership are a plus.
