We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our remote team in Berlin, Germany. In this full-time role, you will analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.
  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the analysis process.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learning.

Tech Skills Needed

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Data Analysis Tools: Experience with libraries like pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
  • Machine Learning Frameworks: Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Database Management: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for data storage and processing.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git for collaborative coding.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in remote team environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of German is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in predictive modeling, NLP, or deep learning.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and statistical methods.
  • Background in data engineering or data pipeline development.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations.
