Employment Information

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support DevOps practices, including continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), automation, and infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to streamline and optimize software delivery pipelines.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated build and deployment processes.
  • Configure and manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and on-premise systems.
  • Work with version control systems, such as Git, to manage code deployments and infrastructure configurations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, procedures, and configurations.
  • Identify and resolve issues with existing deployment pipelines, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Support the implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to track system health and performance.
  • Work closely with security teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline (DevSecOps).
  • Advise clients on best practices for cloud-native development, microservices, and containerization technologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in DevOps practices, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Consultant, Engineer, or similar role (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and software automation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab, Bitbucket).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in DevOps-related tools or platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certification).
  • Experience in implementing and managing microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
  • Experience with GitOps and managing deployment pipelines.
  • Experience in DevSecOps, integrating security practices into the DevOps lifecycle.
