Key Responsibilities:

• Develop secure software solutions by implementing industry-standard security practices and protocols.
• Conduct code reviews and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks.
• Collaborate with software engineers and development teams to integrate security features during software development.
• Implement and maintain encryption protocols, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding practices.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the protection of applications and systems.
• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities in software applications.
• Collaborate with security teams to perform penetration testing and address any identified vulnerabilities.
• Document security policies, procedures, and protocols for development and software deployment.
• Develop automated security testing scripts to ensure the integrity of software code.
• Provide ongoing security support and troubleshooting for deployed applications.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on security.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or similar.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
• Experience with security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or ISO standards.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud security and secure API development.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and cryptography.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP.
• Experience in secure mobile app or web application development.
• Familiarity with security incident response and forensics.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment techniques.
